Climbing in China is a trip designed for climbers who want to discover Yangshuo, one of Asia’s great sport climbing destinations, combining limestone rock, karst landscapes, local culture, Hong Kong and several days of climbing in iconic sectors.
It is not an introductory course or a generic adventure trip. It is an international experience focused on rock climbing, designed for people with previous sport climbing experience who want to climb several days in a row, travel in a group and experience China from an active and authentic perspective.
A trip for independent climbers or climbers with previous experience who are looking for quality routes, organised logistics, local knowledge and a different adventure in China.

This trip is not for everyone.
It is not an introductory course, nor a journey to learn from scratch, nor a passive experience. It’s a group sport climbing trip, with several days of rock climbing, approaches, heat, humidity, changes of sector and some flexibility. If you’re looking for a technical, cultural adventure with great company, this could be a great fit for you.
What this trip includes
This trip combines real sport climbing, karst landscapes, local culture, and organized logistics. Yangshuo is not just a beautiful destination: it is a climbing area with legendary sectors, a local community, quality routes and a natural environment that is hard to find elsewhere.
Climbing in iconic sectors
Swiss Cheese, Dragon City, White Mountain, Spearhead, Leipi Shan and other sectors depending on conditions.
Karst rock and unique landscapes
Limestone, tufas, crimps, overhangs, long lines and a spectacular karst tower setting.
Climbing, culture and travel
Hong Kong, Guilin, Li River, Yangshuo, Xingping and Shenzhen combined with several days of rock climbing.
Recommended level and climber profile
This trip is designed for people with previous experience in sport climbing who want to climb for several consecutive days in an international destination. You don’t need to be a high-level climber, but you do need to have basic self-sufficiency, know how to properly secure yourself, and feel comfortable in an active travel environment.
Previous experience
Recommended for climbers who have already climbed on rock or in a climbing wall and know the basic safety maneuvers.
Indicative level
There are various routes, but the trip is more enjoyable if you can comfortably climb from intermediate grades.
Autonomy and attitude
We are looking for climbers with a flexible attitude, adaptability and a desire to live in a group.
Important: This trip does not replace a climbing course. Each participant must know their limits and communicate their actual experience before booking.
Safety: the choice of sectors, routes and activities will be adapted to the level of the group, the weather, local availability and the rock conditions.
Flexibility: Some days may be modified due to safety, access, local regulations or group conditions.

Day 1 · International departure
Flight to Hong Kong and overnight on board.
Day 2 · Arrival in Hong Kong
Transfer to accommodation, rest, gentle orientation walk and shared dinner.
Day 3 · Urban Hong Kong
Exploration of iconic neighborhoods, viewpoints and urban culture. Possible short urban climbing session.
Day 4 · Transfer to Guilin
High-speed train to Guilin and logistical preparation for the climbing days.
Day 5 · Li River and Yangshuo
Boat trip on the Li River, arrival in Yangshuo and first contact with the climbing environment.
Day 6 · Swiss Cheese
First contact with the karst rock of Yangshuo in a quiet, aesthetic and varied sector.
Day 7 · Dragon City
Sport climbing on technical routes with crimps, tufas and quality long lines.
Day 8 · Culture or active rest
A more relaxed day with a cultural visit near Yangshuo and the Impression Sanjie Liu show.
Day 9 · White Mountain
Climbing in one of Asia’s most iconic sectors, with high-quality routes and a spectacular setting.
Day 10 · Spearhead / Amphitheatre
A day in a wilder environment, with roofs, waterfalls, vertical lines and a local atmosphere.
Day 11 · Xingping y espeleología
Cave exploration, village visit or panoramic alternative depending on conditions.
Day12 · Leipi Shan y Moon Hill
Climbing in Leipi Shan and possible visit or climbing in Moon Hill if conditions and regulations allow.
Day 13 · Shenzhen
Transfer to Shenzhen, free time, city walk, rest and farewell dinner.
Day 14 · Return
Transfer to the airport and international return flight.
Yangshuo: sport climbing among karst towers
Yangshuo will be the technical center of the trip. We will climb on limestone rock, among landscapes of karst towers, rice paddies, rivers and sectors with very varied styles: slabs, crimps, tufas, overhangs, continuity and long lines.

Easy Adventurs does not present this trip as a generic product. Our team knows China from the inside out, has direct experience living, traveling and climbing in the country, and combines that knowledge with technical training in mountaineering, climbing and group management.

Mandatory travel insurance: insurance is not included and must cover medical assistance, repatriation, cancellation and sport climbing activities.
