Cliffs, dunes, open beaches and whitewashed villages. We head north from the Lagos area, selecting sections of the Rota Vicentina and connecting them by transport to discover different sides of Portugal’s coast.

Selected hikes and transfers between sections bring together the Algarve and Alentejo over seven days.

A selection of coastal trails and a circular route, with transfers between sections. We will not walk the entire Fisherman’s Trail continuously from end to end.

Walk: Welcome stroll · Overnight: Lagos
Walk through the Ponta da Piedade and Porto de Mós area towards Luz, with rock formations and sea views along the way. Return to Lagos by transport.
Walk: Approx. 11 km · Overnight: Lagos
Transfer to the Sagres area for a selected hike around Cape St. Vincent. Continue by transport to Carrapateira.
Walk: Distance to be confirmed · Overnight: Carrapateira
A circular route around Bordeira and Amado: dunes, beaches and viewpoints. In the afternoon, transfer to Odeceixe to prepare for the Alentejo stages.
Walk: Approx. 10 km · Overnight: Odeceixe
A coastal day heading north through the Azenha do Mar area and along Atlantic beaches, following the current official trail markers and diversions.
Walk: Approx. 18–20 km; route to be verified · Overnight: Zambujeira do Mar
Walk north past Cabo Sardão and along the Alentejo coast. This is one of the longer days; any shorter option will be confirmed before booking.
Walk: Approx. 20–22 km; route to be verified · Overnight: Almograve
Breakfast and end of the trip. The preferred onward connection is towards Lisbon; alternatives are via Lagos and Faro. Return services, times and costs will be detailed in the proposal.

Seaside breaks, villages and local food are part of the week too. We balance the hikes with time to rest and get to know each place.
The proposed itinerary includes two nights in Lagos and one night each in Carrapateira, Odeceixe, Zambujeira do Mar and Almograve. Selected hotels and guesthouses, subject to availability.

For active people who are used to walking for several hours on several consecutive days and enjoy travelling in a group. No technical experience is required, but you should have some hiking experience. If you have vertigo or are unsure about your fitness, please speak to us before booking.
Moderate overall, with some demanding days. The proposal includes hikes of around 10–11 km and two final stages of around 18–22 km. Sand, wind and short climbs add to the effort. The Sagres hike and any shorter options still need to be confirmed.
No. We select sections of the Rota Vicentina, include a circular route in Carrapateira and connect different towns by transport. The trip starts in Lagos and ends in Almograve.
The proposed arrangement is two nights in Lagos and one night each in Carrapateira, Odeceixe, Zambujeira do Mar and Almograve. Accommodation, room types, bathrooms, breakfasts and any supplements will be confirmed in the proposal.
Transfers may combine buses and arranged transport. Luggage transport still needs to be confirmed; a separate bag-transfer service is not assumed to be included. We’ll explain what to carry during the hikes and how the rest of the luggage will be moved.
The meeting point is planned for Lagos. We can advise you on connections from Faro. The trip ends in Almograve, with the preferred return towards Lisbon and alternatives via Lagos and Faro. Please check times and services with us before booking flights or trains.
Easy Adventurs coordinates the programme and suppliers. The accompanying person, language and support services will be confirmed for each departure before booking. The proposal allows for a maximum of 15 participants on the trails.
Hiking shoes with good grip, a suitable backpack based on the luggage arrangements, water, sun protection, a windproof layer and a waterproof jacket. You’ll receive an equipment list tailored to the departure.
Yes. We adapt the stages to the wind, rain and trail conditions. We follow official signs and diversions, respect the dunes and keep a safe distance from cliff edges.
