Montanejos is one of the most pleasant and accessible climbing destinations in the interior of the Valencian Community. Located approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Valencia, this enclave stands out for its natural surroundings next to the Mijares River and for its limestone rock climbing sectors.
The climbing outings in Montanejos are designed as a first introduction to rock climbing, offering a safe, guided experience adapted to the level of the group. It is an ideal environment to get started, gain confidence and enjoy climbing in a peaceful and natural setting.

The activity takes place in different climbing sectors of Montanejos and its surroundings, in the interior of the province of Castellón, within the valley of the Mijares river. The choice of sector depends on the group's level, orientation, and weather conditions.
The activity begins with an introduction to climbing and basic safety rules. After the briefing, a simple approach on foot is made to the chosen sector. The climbing takes place on routes of difficulty adapted to the group, prioritizing safety, progression and enjoyment of the activity. The guide accompanies at all times, supervising the maneuvers and helping the participants gain confidence on the rock. The activity lasts half a day, ideal for a first climbing experience in a natural environment.
Yeah. All our activities are led by qualified and certified professionals with experience in safety and outdoor activities.
Participants must provide their own personal climbing equipment, unless otherwise agreed.

We include water (1 liter per person).
Yeah. We have a private group option to do the activity just with your people. Tell us how many of you there are and what activity you want, and we'll organize it.
We work with small groups. If the activity exceeds the maximum of 6 people , an extra guide will be provided.
The activities are conducted in Spanish and English . If you have a preference, please indicate it when booking.
As they are outdoor activities, they depend on weather conditions . If the weather does not allow us to carry it out safely, we will offer you the option to reschedule the activity or a full refund , depending on the case.
