Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Expeditions

Bronze · Silver · Gold | External Activity Leader for International Educational Institutions

EasyAdventurs

At EasyAdventurs we act as an external Activity Leader for schools that develop the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, organizing trainings, practice trips and qualifying expeditions. We work in direct coordination with the center and its DofE coordinator, with rigorous planning, safety protocols and professional supervision.

What is the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award?

Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is an internationally recognised educational programme that promotes youth development through four sections: volunteering, physical activity, skills development and expedition.

At EasyAdventurs we specialise in the Expedition section, collaborating with schools to prepare students and organise practice trips and expeditions within the official framework of the Award.

Our approach combines technical planning, risk management and educational accompaniment, so that each group completes the experience with safety and real learning.

Training, Practice Expedition

At EasyAdventurs we take care of planning and executing the Expedition in a complete way, coordinating with the center so that the process is clear, safe and in accordance with the requirements of the Award:

  • Training session and previous briefing (technique, team and roles)

  • Practice output(s) with feedback and adjustments

  • Qualifying expedition (Bronze · Silver · Gold)

  • Route design, timing and logistics

  • Risk assessment and safety protocols

  • Supervision and accompaniment during the expedition

The activities take place in selected natural environments, appropriate to the level of the group and the requirements of the Award.

Program Levels

The Award is organized in three progressive levels, adapted to the age, experience and commitment of the participants.

  • Focus on basic planning and cooperation
  • First contact with expedition and autonomy in the natural environment
  • Ideal as a start in experiential education programs

Silver Level

Intermediate level, with greater demand and responsibility.

  • Greater degree of autonomy in decision-making.
  • More demanding expeditions and better planning
  • Deeper development of personal and social skills

3 days / 2 nights expedition

Gold Level

Advanced level of the program, which requires a high level of personal commitment.

  • Expeditions of longer duration and complexity
  • High level of autonomy and leadership
  • Includes an additional residential experience
  • Clear focus on maturity, initiative, and responsibility

4 days / 3 nights expedition, plus additional residential experience

The duration of the program may vary depending on the educational design of the center.
The complete program is developed over several months, integrating preparation, practice and final expedition.
